Wellspring is being featured on WCCO News in a live segment about our Kitten Yoga events and the amazing work of the Bitty Kitty Brigade.
We Need You! (But not your cat 😿😾)
We’re looking for 10-15 energetic adults to join our Kitten Yoga session on Wednesday, September 11th, from 5:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. This session will be broadcast live. Participants should be ready to do beginner yoga and interact with adoptable kittens provided by the Bitty Kitty Brigade.
Just to let you know, we cannot allow your cats at this event. @BittyKittyBrigade will bring their adoptable kittens.
Event Details 🎥:
- Date 📅: Wednesday, September 11th, 2024
- Location 📍: Wellspring Health Center, 6485 City West Parkway, Eden Prairie
- Time 🕓: 5:30 a.m. – 7:00 a.m. (Live coverage starts at 5:50 a.m.)
- Broadcast 📺: Segments will air on the CBS Minnesota stream throughout the day and may air during the 9 a.m., noon, and 4 p.m. news.
- Host 🎤: WCCO News Anchor Shayla Reaves
- Wear comfortable yoga clothes and bring a yoga mat (@BittyKittyBrigade brings the kittens). 😺

Safety Warning for Kitten Yoga events:
When you interact with kittens from The Bitty Kitty Brigade, there is a chance you could get injured or sick. Injuries might include cat scratches and bites, sometimes leading to infections. Most illnesses are specific to cats, but some, like giardia, toxoplasmosis, cat scratch disease (CSD), tetanus, and ringworm, can affect humans too.
All participants must sign a liability waiver on-site before the Kitten Yoga event. This states that they accept and understand the risks and agree that Wellspring Health Center and The Bitty Kitty Brigade are not responsible for any injury or illness you might get while handling the kittens.
